Ronda Storms is a three time elected public servant serving the vast majority of the citizens of the District 10 Senate seat. Ronda currently serves as an elected member of the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, as the board elected Chair of the Environmental Protection Commission, and board member on the Children’s Board, Hartline, Metropolitan Planning Organization, Port Authority, Tampa Bay Water, and the committee of Six.
Ronda has previously served as the Department of Defense, MacDill Air Force Base Representative, board member to the Expressway Authority, Juvenile Justice Council, Hillsborough County Executive Policy Group, Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful, Hillsborough River Board, Public Transportation Commission, Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, and the Value Adjustment Board.
Ronda has also been an active community leader. Ronda is a member of First Baptist Church Brandon, where she and David were married 20 years ago, where David serves as a deacon, and where they also serve in Sunday School leadership to young married couples. Ronda graduated from USF as a SCATT honors teacher and is still certified to teach high school English. Ronda also graduated with honors from Stetson University College of Law. Ronda previously served the citizens of the District 10 senate seat on the Board of Directors for Hillsborough County Farm Bureau, as a charter member of the Brandon Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council, Republican Executive Committee member, Gideon Auxiliary member, Brandon High School’s 75th Anniversary Celebration planner, and is a graduate of Leadership Brandon.
