For Taxpayers: As a county commissioner Ronda Storms has led the fight to defeat over $1 Billion in new property taxes, sales taxes and gas taxes. Ronda Storms has rolled back property taxes every year for the past eight years, resulting in you, the taxpayer paying $1500.00 less in property taxes. “With rising gas prices and insurance rates going up people need relief. That’s why cutting property taxes is so important."

For Families and Values: Ronda Storms has been a leader is protecting our families from criminals and con artists who take advantage of honest, hard working people in our community. Ronda Storms worked to strengthen the Consumer Protection Agency, resulting in tougher pursuit of dishonest people who use unfair and deceptive business practices to rip off our families. Ronda Storms also pushed for the most stringent regulations for adult entertainment facilities and eliminated government funding for Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion promoter in the country.

For Education: As a certified teacher Ronda Storms has been in the classroom teaching children not only English, but also the value of integrity and was instrumental in the placement of the new regional library next to Bloomingdale Senior High School where she once taught. Ronda Storms believes that our schools need to emphasize math, science and reading and that all students should be required to read at or above grade level. Ronda Storms supports plans to require 65% of every education dollar to be spent in the classroom.

For Children: Ronda Storms pushed to install internet filters on public library computers keeping improper materials away from our children. As a country commissioner, Ronda Storms fought to remove pornography from government funded public access television. Ronda Storms has also lobbied for the Amber Alert system so missing children can be found and reunited with their families quickly.

For National Security: As a member of the Tampa Port Authority, Ronda Storms raised her voice on behalf of concerned citizens around our community and nation and supported the efforts of the United States Senate and Congressional leaders who delivered the political muscle to kill the original proposal to allow foreign owned terminal operators. Ronda Storms has fought to require aggressive deportation proceedings for illegals who are also convicted criminals and will fight to ensure normal path to citizenship. No Amnesty!

The Citizens of District 10: Ronda Storms’ work ethic is unmatched and for the past eight years on the Hillsborough County Commission has handled over 6,000 concerns from citizens. Ronda Storms has fought against new developments in her district and has fought for new streetlights, new sidewalks and public hearings linking growth management and water supply to benefit the citizens and neighborhoods of her district.
